Second Graders Learn about Habitats

Second grade students are learning about interactions within habitats and how living things cause changes on Earth.

Danielle Thompson from the Brown County Soil and Water Conservation office delivered a program to second grade students on Beavers. Students were able to see how the habitat of a behavior starts, the activities beavers undertake and the final results of their work. Then students discussed the adaptations beavers have that allow them to do that kind of work (tail, eyes, ears, teeth, etc.)
