2022-2023 Nancy Jewell Citizenship Award

Two eighth grade students at Hamersville Elementary and Middle School were recipients of the Nancy Jewell Citizenship Award.  They were Charlee Helton and Samuel Bernhardt.    This award is given to students who have been a student at Hamersville as seventh and eighth graders, who are responsible, helpful to fellow students, faculty, and staff, and gives time willingly with 100% effort.  Charlee is the daughter of Brian and Shannon Helton, and Samuel is the son of  Lowell and Michelle Bernhardt.



Hamersville Academic Acheivement Award 2022-2023

At the Hamersville Elementary and Middle School Eighth Grade Recognition Program on May 22nd, Charlee Helton received the Academic Achievement Award, which is awarded for having the highest academic average during their seventh and eighth grade years.  Charlee is the daughter of Brian and Shannon Helton.

Hamersville Jr. High Sports Leadership Awards 2022-2023


On May 18th    Hamersville School held their annual Sports Banquet and honored all student athletes in 7th and 8th grade.   Each student who participated in a sport received a certificate, sports letter and pin.   The last award of the evening is the Sports Leadership Award.   Criteria for Eligibility   1.   Participate in at least 2 sports during their 7th and 8th grade year, 2.  Follows school rules, 3.  Maintain good grades (85% average in each subject), 4.  Exemplifies good moral character, 5.  Displays leadership qualities in school and as a team member, 6.   Cooperates with coaches, teachers, students and fellow athletes, 7.  Develops athletic skills through practice and competition, 8.  Uses athletic ability wisely and effectively and 9.  Makes important contributions to the teams’ performance.  Hamersville School is pleased to announce Aubrey Abbinante, Kendall Hanlon and Samuel Bernhardt as the recipients of the 2022-2023 Sports Leadership Award.
 
Aubrey participated in Cross Country, Basketball and Track during 7th grade and Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball and Track during 8th grade.    Aubrey is the daughter of Amy Adamson and Mark Abbinante.
 
Kendall participated in Cross Country, Basketball and Track both 7th and 8th grade.   Kendall is the daughter of Brian and Amy Hanlon.   
 
Samuel participated in Cross Country, Academic Team and Track both 7th and 8th grade.   Samuel is the son of Lowell and Michelle Bernhardt.

Naomi is the daughter of Cory and Kristan Cover, and Drew is the son of Jeremy and Heather Fite.

Naomi participated in Volleyball and Track both 7th and 8th grade.    She is the daughter of Cory and Kristan Cover.
 
Aiden participated in Football and Basketball both 7th and 8th grade and participated in Track 8th grade.   Aiden is the son of Gerhardt and Jessica Jetter
 
Cash participated in Cross Country, Basketball and Track both 7th and 8th grade.    Cash is the son of Noah and Kandice Smith.

Rebekah participated in Cross Country, Cheer/Mascot and Track both 7th and 8th grade.    Rebekah’s parents are Lowell and Michelle Bernhardt.


Jake participated in Cross Country and Cheer/Mascot both 7th and 8th grade.  Jake participated in Track in 7th grade and It’s Academic Team in 8th Grade.  Jake’s parents are Ryan Battista and Danny Pride.
