On Thursday, January 15th, the 1st graders at Hamersville School had a special visitor. Jennifer Ketchmark, a meterologist from WCPO Channel 9, came to talk to them about her job and about weather. The students learned about what it is like to be on tv. She shared about the "Green Screen", about the technology in the studio and much more. Jennifer Ketchmark also talked about different types of weather and what causes them to happen. The students learned a lot, and we really appreciate Jennifer Ketchmark taking her time to share with us at Hamersville School.

On Friday, February 6th, Hamersville 1st grade celebrated the 100th day of school. The students participated in various centers throughout the day. They counted, gathered and estimated 100 things. The 100th day of school was a success as students enjoyed participating in group activities. Ruben Pacheco and Lilly Wilson won the t-shirt contest. Thanks to all of the volunteers who made 100th day a success.
