What is a School Based Health Center?
The HealthSource Western Brown School-Based Health Center (SBHC) is a partnership between WB School District and HealthSource of Ohio. It was created to provide health care to the children in the district as well as school faculty. The Center’s location in the school itself allows for easy access. For example, if your child has a sore throat, he or she can be evaluated, treated, and started on medication as needed. A follow-up letter can be sent to your family’s primary care physician about the care your child received at the School-Based Health Center. School faculty and students can schedule appointments for medical health services.
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
